Patrick Snijers bekam diesen Ford Escort WRC schon 1997 und fuhr ihn in der belgischen Meisterschaft. Bei der Rallye Hautes Fagnes erzielte er den ersten Gesamtsieg für einen Escort WRC. Bei der RAC-Rallye fuhr in Ari Vatanen 1997 auf Platz acht, ehe er an Edward und Mark Roberts nach England ging, die ihn noch bis 2018 fuhren. Er wurde 2018 komplett restauriert.

Patrick Snijers acquired this Ford Escort WRC back in 1997 and drove it in the Belgian championship. He achieved the first overall victory for an Escort WRC at the Hautes Fagnes Rally. Ari Vatanen finished eighth in the 1997 RAC Rally before it was sold to Edward and Mark Roberts in England, who continued to drive it until 2018. It was than completely restored in 2018.

Il a remporté la première victoire au classement général pour une Escort WRC au Rallye des Hautes Fagnes. Ari Vatanen a terminé huitième du RAC Rally 1997 avant qu’elle ne soit vendue à Edward et Mark Roberts en Angleterre, qui ont continué à la piloter jusqu’en 2018. Elle a ensuite été entièrement restaurée en 2018.
