Dieser Ford fuhr im Jahre 1995 mit Abdullah Bakhashab die Rallyemeisterschaft des Mittleren Ostens, kam dann über Ungarn, Spanien und Italien für das Jahr 1997 zur französischen Schottermeisterschaft. 1998 dann wieder nach Italien und schließlich zu Lars Zander nach Deutschland. Der restaurierte ihn und gab ihn 2024 an John Fordy weiter.

Dieser Ford wurde 1994 vom werksunterstützten Team R.A.S bei sechs Läufen zur Rallyeweltmeisterschaft mit Bruno Thiry als Fahrer eingesetzt. Beste Ergebnisse waren jeweils vierte Plätze bei der Rallye Argentinien sowie Rallye San Remo. Ende 1994 übernahm Patrick Snijers das Fahrzeug und es bekam das legendären BASTOS Design. Bei der Rallye Condroz wurde Patrick Snijers zweiter im Gesamt und damit Europameister.

This Ford drove in the Middle East Rally Championship in 1995 with Abdullah Bakhashab, then came via Hungary, Spain and Italy to the French Gravel Championship for 1997. In 1998 it returned to Italy and finally to Lars Zander. He restored it and passed it on to John Fordy in 2024.

Yesterday: Patrick Snijers/Dany Colebunders, Rallye du Condroz 1994

This Ford was used in 1994 by the factory-supported team R.A.S in six rounds of the World Rally Championship with Bruno Thiry as driver. Best results were fourth places in both the Rally Argentina and Rally San Remo. At the end of 1994 Patrick Snijers took over the car and it got the legendary BASTOS design. At the Condroz Rally, Patrick Snijers finished second overall and was European Champion as well.

Cette Ford a participé au championnat des rallyes du Moyen-Orient en 1995 avec Abdullah Bakhashab, puis est passée par la Hongrie, l’Espagne et l’Italie pour participer au championnat de France Terre en 1997. En 1998, elle est retournée en Italie et finalement chez Lars Zander. Il l’a restauré et l’a transmis à John Fordy en 2024.
